After upgrading your TT99 or your Lunar Gold weapon to second stage Nirvana (N2), you can choose to upgrade it further by getting molds, 
Basic Badge, and 
Essence of Offense. In the same way, you can upgrade Rank 9 weapons that has been reforged using Trial materials (r9r).
The reforged armor molds drop from special bosses in both Warsong City and Lunar Glade. Once your team has killed the normal bosses, a NPC appear (Attendant) and allows you to activate a quest to challenge a new enemy, which is supposed to be a harder version of the normal boss. These bosses are called "Vile" and defeating them grants you 1 Basic Badge per boss.
